Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong & Macau

The Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macau represents the largest business community outside of Australia and is the second largest international chamber in Hong Kong, reflecting the growing strength of Australian business in Greater China.
Our Members are senior representatives from the major Australian companies in Hong Kong, as well as a cross-section of local and international businesses. The Chamber maintains a full schedule of events that are designed to keep Members informed of developments in their field of interest and provide opportunities for them to meet with other business people and promote their businesses.
AustCham represents the views and interests of Members to government departments and other organisations in Hong Kong, China and Australia. The Chamber is an active member of the International Business Committee (IBC), which comprises leaders of the major international chambers of commerce and business organisations who meet regularly with the Chief Secretary and other senior Hong Kong Government officials.

The British Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (BritCham Singapore) is a leading international and local business forum in Singapore, open to individuals and businesses of any nationality. We organise a busy programme of events and activities, both business and social, to help you and your company flourish. All our activities are dedicated to building networks, connecting business and creating opportunities for our Members. BritCham Singapore is proud to be a supporter of the 2nd Oil & Gas Investor Summit Asia 2012. The Chamber has an active Energy & Utilities Business Group that has regular events open to members, their guests and the invited wider energy-related community. Activities are often coordinated and shared with other energy-interest groups in an attempt to provide a truly broad and open forum. Over the past two years events have seen distinguished energy business figures address the issues that are impacting the business in our region. Speakers have come from across the sector including from multi-nationals, such as Shell and BP; national companies, such as Bharat Petroleum; economic gurus from Energy Intelligence, Platts and the Economist Group; and strategists from Boston Consulting, ISEAS and others. The next Energy & Utilities event, the Energy & Utilities Briefing, will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012, featuring Chris Newton - Director, Risco Energy.

The CIFA Foundation was created at the initiative of a group of financial entrepreneurs to face the increasing number of regulations and the growing complexity of markets. Its mission is to strengthen the role of independent financial advisors (IFAs) at the international level in order to better defend the interests of investors. CIFA has chosen Geneva, one of the world capitals of wealth management and headquarters of many international organisations, to establish its permanent organisation.

Hong Kong Energy and Minerals United Associations

The Association, as a non-profit Chamber of Commerce, was established in 2006. We embrace the motto of “Set foot in Hong Kong, bridge to China, liaise with the world” to facilitate the development of the energy and mineral industry, to bridge the international sector and establish a grand stage for the industry, enhancing cooperation among actors to promote project developments. Meanwhile we aim at gathering strength of the industry to win glorious business, to defend interest of the industry and promote the status and influence of the sector in the international setting.

Petroleum Federation of India

The Petroleum Federation of India is an apex Society of entities in the hydrocarbon sector to promote the interests of members through a self regulatory environment with national and consumer interest in sight.
It acts as an oil industry interface with Government, regulatory authorities, public and representative bodies of traders and helps in resolution of issues and evolution of policies and regulations. It represents the industry on Government bodies, committees and task forces.
PetroFed organizes seminars, conferences, workshops, training programmes, lectures and brings out technical publications. It functions through committees from member organizations and other experts, covering all aspects of oil and gas industry which submit recommendations on an ongoing basis.
To recognise the contribution and honour corporates and individuals in creating leadership in the hydrocarbon industry, PetroFed has instituted oil & gas industry awards in eleven categories. They are now in their sixth year. The awards are open to all oil & gas companies operating in India.
PetroFed produces a quarterly journal which is also posted on the website.

The Singapore Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SVCA) was formed in 1992 under the patronage of the Economic Development Board (EDB) to promote and foster the growth in this sector. SVCA is a non-profit, private sector initiative with the following objectives:
- Promote, develop and maintain the local VC and PE industry as a source of equity finance
- Promote VC and PE investment
- Promote the VC and PE profession
- Represent the local VC/PE industry in dealing with parties from other countries
- Foster interaction among members and investment community

Society of Family Offices (SFO) is established as a platform to provide proprietary access to critical knowledge about managing wealth, sustaining family legacy and operating family offices - through continuing education and training, networking, experience sharing and advisory engagement among members. Such knowledge may not be readily available elsewhere.
SFO houses a rich resource of information and best practices associated with the business of managing family wealth in Asia. The strength of SFO network is derived from the collective knowledge and experience of our advisory and corporate members. SFO aims to make solutions accessible to financial families by fostering dialogue among wealth owners, family office executives and wealth advisors in Asia. SFO remains true to its founding mission of objectivity in family office wealth management, member education and shared knowledge.
