David Hyland has been running Rail Personnel an international recruitment business that specialises in recruiting people for the rail industry since 1999.
His work brings him into contact with many in the rail industry around the world and enables him to keep up to date with what is happening in the rail industry around the world.
David started his career with the Australian railways in 1970 after graduating in civil engineering. After working with the New South Wales Railways for 10 years in track maintenance and in investment planning.
He then worked for a number of companies in manufacturing and consulting before forming his own consulting business in 1987 to do engineering and economic feasibility studies for railways in Australia and South East Asia.
